Open house in Garston

Fri, Feb 23rd 2007, 11:00

Step through the doors of two brand new properties at Cressington Heath next weekend to explore a whole new world in detached living.

Redrow is throwing open the doors to the inspiring Walkham show home and a Wharfe view home in a bid to move people – literally.

The properties are the perfect examples of a new take on modern family living – they’re both detached – but they also offer the sought after third storey, an ideal solution for growing families who want to move up not out.

Christine Aitken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire) says: “Garston is really desirable right now, and at Cressington Heath we’re seeing many families who want to lay down some roots in a family home that’s flexible enough to change as they do, and that’s in a good location.

“Those who attend our open house weekend will be able to try out the detached homes for size, and speak to our sales consultants about their own requirements.

“The benefits of three storey living are there for all to see. It offers more home for your money and also allows people space to spread out and use their imagination into how they can use each room. Entire floors can be dedicated to visiting guests, teenage children or a home gym. Alternatively, parents can live peacefully on the first floor while the second floor becomes the kids’ domain.”

The Walkham at Cressington Heath is priced from £309,995, while the larger five-bedroom Webburn and Wharfe, which both come with detached double garage, are priced form £349,995 and £389,995. Redrow is currently offering to pay the 3% deposit on selected plots while investor packages are also available.

Cressington Heath is also the venue for a unique collaboration between Redrow and Liverpool-based art company, Dot-Art. A view home has been transformed into a fully-fledged art gallery featuring work of local artists.

For home buyers who snap up a new home at Cressington Heath throughout the duration of the Dot-Art exhibition (until end of March 2007), Redrow will give them a £250 voucher to spend on art at Dot-Art’s main gallery on Oriel Close, off Water Street in the city centre.

Cressington Heath will eventually comprise 314 new homes on a 35-acre site formally owned by Associated British Ports (ABP) between Aigburth and Garston.

Once complete, it will offer everything from two-bedroom apartments, through town houses and semi-detached properties to large and luxurious detached homes.

Join Redrow at the open house weekend on February 24th and 25th for a glass of wine and to view the detached view properties. Visit the marketing suite, located just off Garston Way, from 12pm. Alternatively, call the Redrow sales consultant on 0845 676 0510.
