Redrow back in Ebbw Vale and making an impact

The latest new homes in Ebbw Vale, Gwent look set to be another success story for award winning Redrow Homes.
A crowd of around 150 people gathered at Ebbw Vale Rugby Club to catch a first glimpse of what could be their future home at Cae Ffwrnais, close to the town centre.
Debby Pavitt, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales), says: “Redrow has a long association with Ebbw Vale, having built here several times before, including the fabulous Victoria development on the site of the old Garden Festival. It’s great to be back and we are delighted with the response from potential customers to the homes we will be building at Cae Ffwrnais.
“One couple, Darren and Rebecca Chislett, waited from midday until the doors opened at 4pm so that they could purchase their new home. They were the first to snap up a property and they helped to get the sales off to great start. We also took a further six reservations on the day.”
Cae Ffwrnais will eventually consist of 72 new homes, including one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes. The development will feature a selection of homes that are ideal for customers from all walks of life – from first time buyers and young couples, to growing families and empty nesters.
Properties initially available at Cae Ffwrnais include a collection of three-storey homes that add a touch of tradition to the development. The detached four-bedroom Neale, the three-bedroom Lambourne and the three-bedroom Malham each offer the very best in three-storey living, giving home buyers the opportunity to make use of the space provided in any way that suits them.
The ground floor of the Neale features a spacious living area to the front of the house and the fitted kitchen/dining area to the rear, with patio doors onto the garden.
A central staircase leads to the first floor, which boasts a roomy lounge to the front, with French doors onto a Juliet balcony, plus the master bedroom, which has an en suite shower room. There are three further bedrooms and the family bathroom on the floor above.
Debby adds: “The Neale is a fabulous home and home buyers will be able to entertain guests in the ground floor living area, or even use the space as a family room, formal dining room or maybe a home office.
“Both the Lambourne and the Malham are also extremely versatile properties as home buyers can really spread out over three floors, using the extra space to suit their lifestyle needs.”
Prices for three-storey homes at Cae Ffwrnais start from just £169,995.
Cae Ffwrnais is located on Steelworks Road in Ebbw Vale, close to the town centre and all of its amenities, including shops, bars and restaurants. Merthyr Tydfil is just 15 minutes away and Cardiff and Swansea are 30 and 40 miles respectively.
