It’s a case of role reversal at Redrow’s new homes development in Westbury, as the sales team are the ones who have been on the move for a change, rather than the customers!

The wait is over and now the doors of the brand new marketing suite at Redrow’s popular Lakelands Edge development have opened to house hunters on the lookout for a new home.

Until now, customers who have been interested in buying their dream home at Lakelands Edge have had to visit a local estate agent. Now, not only are sales staff situated at the development, but visitors are in for a surprise.

Lorraine Kendrick, sales director for Redrow Homes (South West), explains: “We are delighted to introduce this new professional contemporary marketing suite at Lakelands Edge – and it’s a marketing suite with a twist. Buyers will be able to try their property before they buy, thanks to the new ‘Indulge with Redrow’ area, which allows customers to see and feel everything they could have in their new home, from the fireplace and drawers to cupboards and carpets.”

‘Indulge with Redrow’ is an innovative addition to the traditional marketing suite concept. As well as a scale model of the housing development and floor plans of each property mounted on the wall, a partition has been added to create a ‘hidden’ room, where buyers can see samples of the Redrow fixtures and fittings that they can include in their home.
               
Lorraine adds: “This extra feature allows home buyers to interact with their new home, giving them a more hands-on approach to making their choices.”

Lakelands Edge will comprise 92 homes and presents a range of properties to choose from, including two-bedroom apartments and two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.

Prices at the development currently start from £205,000 for a three-bedroom Ivel style semi-detached home and from £237,995 for a fabulous three-storey, four-bedroom semi-detached Ouse.

The first new homes are set to be ready for occupation in June and fully furnished show homes are due to be unveiled in April. Inside, their specification includes fully fitted kitchen with stainless steel oven, hob and cooker hood, with a stylish choice of finishes for kitchen cabinets and worktops. Bathrooms feature elegant white Ideal Standard suites, with chrome finish taps and a choice of tiling to complement.
