Going…going…

Apartment hunters in Suffolk looking for a contemporary new apartment need to hurry to be part of Redrow’s Forum venture in Bury St Edmunds – where only 10 properties remain.

Home buyers have already snapped up 74 properties in just eight months, meaning almost 90% of the apartments are now gone – and Redrow doesn’t expect to hold on to the rest for much longer.

Caron Hutchins, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern), said: “We’ve had phenomenal success at Forum. On the launch day we had a queue even before the doors opened and soon enough there will be nothing left. This development benefits from its great commuter links – it’s literally a stone’s throw from the railway station with journey times to London of around an hour and a half – and the apartments’ exterior is also really eye catching. If people want to buy a home here, my advice would be to hurry.”

The apartments waiting to be snapped up have two bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, as well as the main bathroom, open plan living area and kitchen, storage cupboard and a parking space. Prices start at £152,995.

Caron continues: “To have sold so many apartments in such a short space is time is testament to Redrow’s reputation as a premier house builder, a reputation we hope to build on in the years to come. These apartments have been popular with a range of people, from down-sizers and couples, to young families and friends buying together – there’s something for everyone.”

Forum comprises three uniquely designed two and three-storey buildings arranged around a large landscaped courtyard garden, which will also become home to various pieces of public art.

A wealth of rich materials are being used to create a stunning exterior, such as glass stairwells, aluminium window frames and fascia cladding all complementing perfectly with the blend of cedar boarding wood cladding and silver grey render.

Home buyers will also be pleased to know that Forum provides excellent security with a gated entrance included within the price of each property.

The development is just half a mile from Bury town centre, which offers a wealth of restaurants, bars and shopping as well as a theatre and an annual arts festival.
Being situated opposite the train station means professionals will have an easy journey to work to places such as Ipswich, around 30 minutes away, and Cambridge, 45 minutes down the line.
