The doors are opening to a festival of housing

Home hunters in North Wales will be spoilt for choice in the coming weekends, as Redrow throws open the doors at four developments for a fantastic ‘Festival of Housing’.
Taking place over two weekends –21st / 22nd, and 28th / 29th April – the house builder is inviting would-be purchasers to join them for a festival atmosphere, with a host of special offers, beautiful show homes to view and wine and nibbles to make the whole house-hunting experience more pleasurable.
With two ventures in Wrexham, Pentre Bach on Ruthin Road and Ty Newydd on Mold Road, and two at St David’s Park in Ewloe - Y Dolydd and Parc y Coed, the award-winning company has a strong presence in the local community and can offer homes suitable for all – from apartments up to large four-bedroom properties.
Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (North West) says: “Now that summer is officially here, there’s no better time to think about making that house move. Our ‘Festival of Housing’ will give visitors a chance to look around our fabulous show homes and developments, and find out about the fantastic incentives we have available at the moment”
At Pentre Bach a range of three and four-bedroom homes are available, with prices starting at £150,000 and £215,000 respectively. After launching in early 2006, the venture has proved popular with families and professionals who enjoy the proximity to the town centre and its amenities, as well as the good road and rail links nearby.
Ty Newydd, also in Wrexham, benefits from a similar excellent location and offers a selection of two-bedroom apartments, and two and three-bedroom homes, starting from £132,950. Perfect for young professionals stepping onto or up the property ladder, interest in the homes has been high.
Over at St David’s Park in Ewloe, where Redrow has been catering to the needs of home hunters for over a decade, Parc y Coed is nearing completion. Only a handful of four-bedroom, three-storey homes remain, priced competitively at £280,000, and Redrow’s festival of housing is the perfect opportunity for those interested to see what they could soon be missing out on.
But if it’s a smaller property you’re looking for, then Y Dolydd, also at St David’s Park, could provide the solution. Newly launched, the select venture will comprise just 43 new homes – a mixture of two-bedroom apartments and two and three-bedroom homes. Currently on release are a range of three-bedroom homes, priced between £168,000 and £192,000, making them the ideal choice for families just starting out.
Following the launch of Y Dolydd, only one parcel of land for residential use remains at St David’s Park, which has been earmarked for a selection of one and two-bedroom homes aimed at appealing to empty nesters and people planning for their retirement.
Patsy continues: “We really do have the dream home for everyone across our North Wales ventures, and over our weekend events we’re offering some special summer incentives designed to get people moving quickly.
“For a limited time only, we’ll take care of the 5% deposit and legal fees on selected plots – leaving customers free to stop saving, and we’ll also include fitted carpets throughout, which means the only thing left to do is move in!”
Sales consultants will be on hand with wine and nibbles, as well as sound advice on Redrow’s latest homes and offers, on both 21st / 22nd and 28th / 29th April, at 10am to 5:30pm each day, at each development.
