When Linda and Ian Erskine went for a preview of their new home they came away ‘walking on air’.

For the couple channelled their energy into winning a competition for new home buyers and came away with the top prize.

The pair, who are hoping to buy a property at Redrow Homes’ Stourscombe Vale development in Launceston, North Cornwall, won a state of the art high-definition (HD) television.

Linda, 57 and Ian, 50, are selling their home in Estover with help from the developer’s Mastermove scheme, Redrow’s easy way to help customers sell their existing property to buy the brand new home of their dreams.

Said Linda, a laundry assistant and mother of three: “We couldn’t believe it when we won the television, we were absolutely delighted. Hopefully it will take pride of place in our new living room when we move to Stourscombe Vale.

“It’s a real bonus to find your new home, then win a great prize to help furnish it with.”

Linda and Ian, a delivery driver, are buying a three-bedroom Hardwick terraced home at Stourscombe Vale, which is ideally situated in the outskirts of the market town of Launceston and offers homebuyers a modern take on traditional Cornish life.
 

A selection of two, three and four-bedroom terraced and semi-detached homes are currently on offer, with prices starting at £171,995, up to £235,000, including a selection of homes where the roof space has been cleverly converted to create valuable extra rooms.
