Birchgrove launch success

Thu, May 31st 2007, 11:00

Crowds gathered outside a brand new development in Birchgrove in the hope of securing their place at this attractive new venture’s launch day.

Visitors to Redrow’s new Awel-Y-Mor development were invited to the on-site marketing suite that houses a mine of information on the new development, as well as a model of the final result and examples of fixtures and fittings.

Rachael Davies, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales) said: “We were delighted to welcome so many people to Awel-Y-Mor for its launch. We received really positive feedback from locals and investors alike, and were on-hand all day to answer any questions from guests.

“We have already sold several properties and many more visitors on the day showed great interest in Awel-Y-mor so we are anticipating lots more sales in the coming weeks.”

Home-buyers can also benefit from Redrow’s Mastermove scheme which provides practical and financial help for potential purchasers with an existing property still to sell.
Redrow will appoint a carefully chosen, local estate agent to market the property, will monitor their progress and even pay the agent’s fee at the end of the day.
Awel-y-Mor will comprise 115 new homes on a six-and-a-half acre site in Heol Las, Birchgrove – just moments from Swansea city with its array of shops, restaurants, pubs and cinema Grand Theatre and quaint maritime quarter.
The development will feature a variety of one, two, three and four-bedroom properties, including some stylish apartments and a wide selection of terraced, semi and detached houses.  Initial prices range from £99,995 to £227,995 for a selection of one-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Rachael adds: “Redrow hasn’t built in the Swansea area for a while, so it’s great that local homebuyers are able to get reacquainted with Redrow and the quality of our properties.

“Swansea is a vibrant city that is expanding all the time, and Awel-y-Mor benefits from its close proximity to both the city and the beautiful Welsh coast. The development is perfectly suited for growing families and investors to first-time buyers and downsizers, and the designs will have the perfect balance between traditional home comforts but built for all contemporary practicalities.”

The first homes at Awel-y-Mor should be ready to move into early next year. For further details call: 0845 676 0319 or visit the marketing suite open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
