Ready for lift-off

Redrow’s newest development, Fox’s Fold, in the historic town of Barton-upon-Humber got a high flying introduction at this year’s Brocklesby Country Fair.

The housebuilder took to the skies at the event with its very own hot air balloon, offering tethered balloon rides to visitors between the rain showers and a novel opportunity to promote its forthcoming development, as well as the ongoing Kirk’s Paddock, in Grimsby.

Liz Cooper, field sales manager for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), said: “The weather wasn’t too kind to us but nevertheless we did manage to treat a few people to a tethered flight in the balloon and it was a great opportunity to tell people about our plans for expansion.

“Fox’s Fold is a brand new development for us in an area where we haven’t built before and we are all excited about the forthcoming launch due to take place in July. The new venture will contain a wide mix of property types from Redrow’s portfolio including two-bedroom semis and townhouse properties and three and four-bedroom semi, three-storey mews and detached homes.  The homes have been sympathetically designed to complement existing architecture in the local area.
