Celestia's winning team has star quality

The all-female team at Cardiff Bay is the first ever to jointly win Redrow’s ‘Sales Consultant of the Year’ award in South Wales.

With almost 90 legal completions and 47 reservations in the last quarter alone, the pair have been celebrating a success which will help Europe’s youngest capital city continue to flourish.

The award was jointly presented to Luly Brice and Sian Rees for their hard work in helping to make Celestia the success it is.

Luly, 24, only joined Redrow a year ago and said she was shocked and pleased that they won the award.

“We knew of each other as we both worked for estate agent Michael Graham Young before joining Redrow, but this is the first time we’ve worked together, and it’s turned out really well.

“We make an absolutely cracking team.”

In her spare time Luly helps to pre-train her father’s racehorses, but this early riser also enjoys a night out on the town:  “I’m passionate about our city and how it’s developing. I love to socialise either at the Bay or in the city centre.

“I get up at 6am to train the horses, but I’m a ‘morning’ person so it doesn’t bother me. It’s a great start to the day and I really enjoy my job.

Her colleague Sian Rees, who joined Redrow in 2005, has also enjoyed a successful year. “I turned 30, got married and then found out I’d won this award. It’s just been fantastic,” said Sian.

“We were astounded when we heard the announcement at the end of year ceremony, as the award has never been presented jointly before. It was a brilliant evening.

“I love working with Luly – she’s so dependable and always gets things done. 

She continued: “I must mention though, that we could never have done it without our part-time member of sales staff Kate Lacey, as well as Pam Ward and Felicity Jandrell in Customer Care.”

Sian lives in Groesfaen with her husband Richard and enjoys socialising at their local pub, cooking and entertaining.
