Dining

You don’t have to head into the city for a great dining experience, because Woolton Village has a huge choice available for every occasion and budget. Allerton Road and Woolton Street are packed with restaurants, including The Raj, Coast Café Bistro, Let’s Eat and Istanbul, all of which come highly recommended.

Naturally, the city centre has even more choice, from Chinatown to the twenty restaurants within the food court at Liverpool One. You can even enjoy lunch 300ft up at Panoramic 34, at the top one of the city’s tallest towers. If you are prepared to travel a little, you can discover two of the region’s rare Michelin star restaurants, at Fraiche in Oxton across the water on the Wirral, and at the Grosvenor Hotel in the heart of Chester.

Education

Naturally, good local education is a number one priority for families when it comes to choosing a location for their next home, and it’s the same for us at Redrow. Which is why at Woolton Fields, you’ll find an excellent choice of schools within walking distance, all rated ‘good’ by Ofsted.

Younger pupils can choose between Woolton Primary, Bishop Martin CofE Primary and Much Woolton Catholic Primary, all close enough to leave the car at home. Older pupils are even better served, with Woolton High just around the corner, along with St Julie’s Catholic School for girls and St Francis Xavier College for boys, both within easy reach.

The area is also well served by schools for pupils with special needs, with Palmerston and Abbots Lea both conveniently close.
