When choosing where to locate our developments, we at Redrow know that good educational facilities are a top priority for our residents. Widnes has a large number of primary schools to choose from, including Moorfield and St John Fisher RC Primary Schools. Transport

The town of Widnes nestles on the northern bank of the River Mersey and is excellently placed to offer easy access to a number of the North West’s largest cities. Our Barrow Green development offers commuters a range of options, with the M62 and M6 just a short drive away. Warrington lies approximately five miles to the west, with the major city of Liverpool less than ten miles away. Widnes has a number of excellent public transport links. Two stations, Hough Green and Widnes, offer services to Liverpool, Manchester, Stockport and Sheffield. Nearby Runcorn station also provides connections to the Midlands, London and the South. The town has a good bus service, whilst for those requiring international or domestic flights, Liverpool John Lennon and Manchester International airports are within easy reach.
