Wickersley has a small selection of shops, with a much bigger selection in nearby Rotherham. There has been a market in the town for over 800 years, and it is still going strong, six days a week, offering a range of fresh produce, clothing and other goods. Rotherham also offers a fascinating choice of independent stores and unique boutiques to reward the more adventurous shopper.

Rotherham’s Parkgate Shopping Park offers out of town shopping, with a host of big names, from Nike to Next, while Sheffield’s legendary Meadow Hall Shopping Centre, just 15 minutes drive away, has no less than 280 shops and stores, along with a cinema and a dining quarter featuring all your favourite family restaurants.
