Education in the area is typically carried out in both Welsh and English, with strong local connections to the Welsh cultural history. The Ysgol Griffiths Jones Primary School has two streams, one teaching in Welsh and one in English with the Welsh element as a secondary language.

Located in the south west of Wales, the town of St Clears is served by the main arterial road in the area, the A40. Connecting Haverfordwest to Carmarthen before continuing to Brecon and Abergavenny, this is the main route between Wales and England and extends through to Gloucester and beyond.

Carmarthen is just 10 miles away from the Nant Y Rhosyn development, making it conveniently accessible for work and leisure. Carmathen is also the main hub for local railway access, with its mainline station linking to Swansea in less than one hour and Cardiff in a little less than two hours.

The A477 road heading down to the south coastal towns of Tenby is also easily reached, similarly putting Pembroke Dock’s ferry connection to Ireland at just a short 24-mile drive away.
