To be known as Foxgloves at Tabley Green, the new phase of our development is adjacent to The Orchards at Tabley Green and sits to the east of Tabley Lane.
Due to be released for sale in spring 2023, it will feature a range of detached three to five-bedroom homes from our arts and crafts inspired Heritage Collection. With energy efficiency built into the fabric of their design, to improve insulation and reduce heat loss, the homes will also benefit from solar (PV) panels and electric car charging points, making them ideal for homebuyers who want to live more sustainably.
The 5.6-acre parcel of land is the most recent of our acquisitions at Tabley Green in Fulwood, which has been a focus of ongoing investment by the homebuilder.
Karl Longworth, land director for Redrow Lancashire, said: “Like our previous phases at Tabley Green, Foxgloves has been planned around our placemaking principles to create a better way for residents to live. It will offer generous detached homes, all with spacious private gardens, and surrounded by green open space, mature trees and wetland areas, so homeowners can enjoy nature on their doorstep.
“The new phase will also generate more than £900,000 of direct investment in the local community through section 106 agreements linked to the planning application. This includes around £590,000 towards community infrastructure, almost £280,000 to Preston City Council for offsite affordable homes provision and £40,000 towards a potential toucan pedestrian crossing on Tom Benson Way.
“We have also committed to an employment and skills plan, which includes providing apprenticeships for local people and construction careers events in the area.”
Ideal for commuters, Foxgloves at Tabley Green will eventually have a direct access to the North Preston East West Link Road, due to open in 2023. Once operational, the link road will provide quick access to the new Preston Western Distributor Road and new M55 junction.
Tabley Green benefits from easy access to the bustling city centre of Preston, with its restaurants, bars and shopping amenities, while being close to a Sainsbury’s, Lidl and Post Office. And, for homeowners wanting to enjoy the great outdoors, Brockholes Nature reserve is just over 10 minutes away.
Work will begin at Foxgloves at Tabley Green early in 2023.
