Residents and local communities are invited to attend for refreshments and cakes in return for a small donation to the Macmillan charity.
The events, from 10am – 12 noon will be held at:
- Bishop Meadows development on Cocker Mill Lane, Cowlishaw.
- Worden Gardens development on Leyland Lane, Leyland.
- The Grange at Yew Tree Park development on Chancel Way, Burscough.
- Grace Fields at Hilton Grange development on Greensbridge Lane, Halewood.
Every penny raised will help the charity to be right there for people living with cancer and to bring everyone together.
“We will be holding an event at four of our developments in Lancashire, everyone is welcome, and entry is free,” said Steve Jackson, sales director at Redrow Lancashire.
“The team will be pulling together some terrific treats, all we ask is for in return is a donation back to this amazing charity.”
The first Macmillan Coffee Morning took place in 1990 and was a small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process.
