Anna, 30, achieved the perfect result when an undercover ‘shopper’ visited the sales centre at Redrow’s Millstone View development, in Penymynydd, Flintshire.
She was judged on her ability to successfully identify the customer’s requirements for a new home, as well as understanding their position and timeframe for moving. She also had to explain key features of the chosen new home, including energy efficiency; as well as guide the customer through the buying process and everything they could look forward to during their ‘journey’ with Redrow.
Anna, from Chester, said: “I was over the moon to get 100% because I’d been mystery shopped very early in my role with Redrow and always wanted to have the opportunity again to get a perfect score when I’d had a bit more experience.
Anna has worked at two other Redrow developments prior to moving to Millstone View, and has previously worked for two other new home builders in the North West, since moving on from her previous role as an estate agent.
“I’ve been with Redrow for 18 months now,” Anna said. “I wanted to make a move before I was 30 to a company I could then hopefully stay with for the rest of my career. Redrow was the only home builder I wanted to move to, so when I heard of a vacancy, I jumped at the chance.
“I love working with customers and feel like I’ve found my niche. It’s a real buzz getting a sale over the line or an exchange of contracts, and that gives me motivation. It was so lovely to hear the comments from the mystery shopper that I had greeted her with a smile and made her feel comfortable and at ease.”
Anna Evans-Kerr, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “Our sales consultants are helping people to make one of the biggest purchasing decisions of their lives, and that’s something they don’t take lightly. Anna is passionate about her job and strives to give the best experience to every customer. She’s knowledgeable, thorough and above all great at making people feel at ease and confident throughout the process.
“The service Anna provided to the ‘mystery shopper’ was no different to the exceptional way she treats every customer who walks through the door at Millstone View.”
Sales consultant Anna is now selling the final five homes at Millstone View and helping the remaining Redrow homeowners to settle into their new homes.
She added: “The location of Millstone View is fabulous. There are views of the Welsh hills and surrounding farmland. It’s semi-rural yet really close to Chester and the amenities at Broughton Park. Penyffordd has a really strong sense of community, with a Co-op, lovely pubs and great schools and the site itself has lots of trees and greenery, so it’s a really lovely place to live.”
Once complete, Millstone View will feature 186 homes. All homes are from Redrow’s Heritage Collection, inspired by Arts & Crafts architecture of the 1930s, and combine traditional craftsmanship with stylish and spacious modern interiors.
