When the couple were buying their first home, they knew it had to be Redrow and despite falling in love with the four-bedroom Henley, the more affordable Cambridge was the sensible option.
Cabin crew, Rachel, said: “When we were first time buyers the Henley show home really wowed us but was a bit of a stretch financially. The Cambridge was a similar layout and within our price range so we said that would be perfect for us until we were in a better position. After living in the Cambridge for five years, we knew that the final two Henley’s were being built on our development. New homes are all Connor has known so he said we either go for it and get our dream home or stay where we were. So it felt as if it was now or never for us to buy our dream home.”
After living in the village of Hartford, the family, who have a young son, wanted to stay there as the amenities, schools and connections to Manchester and Liverpool Airport, where Rachel and aircraft engineer Connor work, were ideal.
Rachel continued: “We really like the development too. The houses aren’t on top of each other. It feels like we have a good chunk of land, which isn’t something every new build development comes with so it’s great that we’ve been able to stay here.”
The Henley is an impressive home with a double garage, expansive kitchen, dining and family area at the back of the property, a utility room plus four double bedrooms upstairs.
“The fact that we have en-suite bathrooms to bedrooms one and two was a huge factor for us. Connor’s family live in Scotland so when they come and stay, they stay for a few days at a time. Having the second en-suite gives them their own space, it’s great,” said Rachel.
