Redrow NW invited children from schools across Cheshire, closest to its garden village developments in Chester, Ledsham, Daresbury and Woodford, to design a Christmas card, with a few words, on the theme ‘what Christmas at home means to me’.
The competition winner Nancy, nine, from Sutton Green Primary School in Little Sutton won a Smyth’s Toys voucher for her winning design and a visit from Father Christmas and a selection box each for all her class.
Nancy’s winning design will also be used on the front cover of Redrow NW’s 2024 Christmas card.
Anna Evans-Kerr, sales director for Redrow NW, said: “We had so many wonderful entries for this competition, and it was lovely to read what Christmas means to each of the children.
“Nancy’s design shows the real meaning of Christmas; spending time with your family and friends, eating an amazing Christmas dinner and making lots of memories. Thank you for sharing it with us Nancy.”
Headteacher at Sutton Green Primary School Mr Stark added: “We were very proud to hear that Nancy’s design was chosen as this year’s winner.
“Thank you to Redrow and Father Christmas for our visit. Nancy and all our pupils had a very enjoyable morning.”
