The funds went towards festive costs including decorating the town and purchasing a Christmas tree and lights.
Congleton’s Christmas tree is located outside Higher Ground Café, on the corner of Moody Street and opposite Market Street, where it will remain until early January.
“We’d like to thank Redrow for supporting Congleton Town Council again this Christmas. This donation has enabled us to light up the town centre and spread some festive cheer,” said town centre and events officer Rachel McCarthy.
“Our message this year is to support local, come together and support each other.”
Anna Evans Kerr, sales director at Redrow NW, added: “Congleton has such a lovely community feel and we know from being involved with the community for a number of years now that the Christmas tree and lights are a big highlight locally. We were very happy to have been able to offer our support again this year.”
We are currently building at Round Hill Gardens which will eventually include 454 new homes and will feature a wide selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties, split across two outlets Woodlands and Blossoms.
