Dane Valley Scout Group received £1000 from us that they have used towards works to upgrade their 40-year-old scout headquarters.
Neil Dutton, Group Scout Leader, said: “With Redrow’s donation we have replaced aged and unsafe bollards that will keep our young people safe when we do outdoor activities. Our building is used by five sections of our scout group (Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers) plus several community groups, including wellbeing groups and a variety of self-help groups. We are fundraising for a number of works to maintain our excellent headquarters for our young people and third-party users for years to come. Work to upgrade the scout headquarters has been a costly process and the donation from Redrow helped us out greatly.”
Emily Carey, area sales manager for our North West division said: “Community hubs like the scout headquarters bring communities together in a safe space so were pleased that our community fund has helped with the improvements.”
The community fund is linked to our Round Hill Gardens development, which features a mix of three, four and five bedroom properties split into two phases – Blossoms and Woodlands.
The development is open from Tuesday to Sunday, usually from 10am-5.30pm. For further information call
