King’s Stanley Primary School, located in Gloucestershire, has just received a charitable gift from Redrow. Redrow Southwest in preparation for their exciting Christmas raffle which forms part of the school’s annual Christmas Fair on Thursday 1st of December.
This event will take place from 3:15-5 pm and aims to bring the local community alongside members of staff, children, friends, and family to the event on school grounds. The raffle forms a part of the school’s fundraising efforts to raise £10,000 for a new junior playground for the pupils.
The beautiful Marks and Spencer hamper donated by Redrow forms a part of the second prize at the raffle, which is accompanied by a first cash prize for which the school fundraised.
Alongside the raffle, the event will see a variety of Christmas games being run by the school’s teachers, including tombola, pop the balloon, and mini golf, amongst many others that are guaranteed to bring an abundance of festive cheer.
There will also be food and drink stalls serving delicious hot drinks, from mulled wine to hot chocolate, with delicious festive treats and even a BBQ also on offer for all guests in attendance, making this a memorable day for the school and the community.
The school’s PFTA treasurer, Clare Papper, highlighted: “We are so excited for our annual Christmas raffle. It is always such a success and thanks to Redrow’s generous donation, we hope to see more people there!”
Alongside this, Area Sales Manager of the Southwest, Fiona Fullilove, commented: “At Redrow, we are proud to support schools within the local community, especially during the Christmas season as it is always such a fun and memorable time of year! We hope that the winner enjoys the hamper.”
