Rhys joined the Redrow Apprenticeship Scheme in September 2022 and since then, has been training with the Southern Counties team at Cromwell Court, our community of homes in Basingstoke.
Commenting on his experience at Redrow, Rhys said: “The Redrow Apprenticeship Scheme has given me the best of both worlds – gaining skills, while obtaining qualification, two key components I need to kick start my career. I like the mix of working outdoors on site, with experienced tradespeople, learning from their years of expertise, alongside the college part of the scheme which means I gain a qualification. Both aspects will provide me with invaluable knowledge I’ll need in the long run as I look to set up my own business and start building up my own book of private clients.”
He continued: “Redrow has been, and continues to be, very supportive. Following this scheme, I will definitely stay working with Redrow, building on the skills I will have learnt through the scheme and progressing my career further.”

We employs upwards of 250 apprentices at any one time, providing schemes across a range of specialisms, from site management, maintenance, commercial and office-based roles.
