The Rt Hon John Healey MP for Wentworth and Dearne opened three new show homes at Poppy Fields, located off Moor Lane South.
The development will eventually feature 240 homes for private sale and 80 affordable properties; including 28 which have been allocated under the governments ‘First Homes’ initiative, specifically for local first-time buyers to purchase. This includes a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes, all from Redrow’s Heritage Collection.
The three new show homes The Stratford Lifestyle, The Chester and The Hampstead are now open to the public, who can visit for a tour of the properties as well as find out more about the development.
“Our launch event at Poppy Fields went very well and I would like to thank the Rt Hon John Healey for officially opening our new show homes,” said John Handley Managing Director for Redrow Yorkshire.
“This is our first development in Bramley, but not our first development in South Yorkshire, having built in nearby Wickersley. We look forward to welcoming prospective purchasers to Poppy Fields to take a closer look at the quality and specification of the properties available.”
The 36-acre development will also include a large area of open space, featuring a play area and a community orchard. There is also a great range of primary schools, local amenities, shops, parks and woodland walks nearby.
Bramley is a small village about four miles east of Rotherham, between Ravenfield and Wickersley, it offers excellent transport links and great access to the M18 and M1.
