Quality awards for 14 Redrow site managers

Taking pride in the Job has paid off for 14 Redrow Homes’ site managers who have been ranked among the top 3% in the UK.

Some 15,000 site managers were assessed by judges in the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job ‘Quality’ awards  this year. The 446 award-winners include 14 Redrow site managers.

They will now compete with the other shortlisted candidates for the prestigious ‘Seal of Excellence’ awards, which are reserved for only the top 1% and announced in the autumn.

John Tutte, Redrow’s group chief executive, said: “A Pride in the Job award is the highest industry accolade a site manager can receive and follows a rigorous assessment process. The fact that so many of our managers have been recognised reflects the level of pride the Redrow team takes in ensuring each home is built to the highest of standards.

“A number of this year’s ‘Quality’ award recipients are past winners, providing further evidence of our ongoing commitment to excellence. Combined with four consecutive five star awards for customer satisfaction, these awards should give buyers further comfort they have made the right decision when they choose a Redrow home.”

Pride in the Job is the house-building industry’s most prestigious awards programme. It recognises the UK’s best site managers who demonstrate exceptional standards in every aspect of their work on site.

Judging includes spot checks of the day-to-day running of the site. Each site manager is assessed across 38 areas of site management including their technical knowledge, consistency in the build process and leadership and organisational skills.
