Busy Parents and Children Welcome at Redrow's 'After-School Club'

Redrow will be hosting its very own ‘after school club’ for families looking to make a move to a stylish new home in Wrexham.

The award-winning housebuilder is extending opening hours until 7.30pm every Thursday evening from September 13th until October 4th at its new homes venture in Mold Road, so busy parents can visit the development with their children after collecting them from school.

Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “We know that parents can often be pushed for time; juggling work with the school run and children’s after school activities, so it can be difficult for them to find the time to house hunt. With that in mind, we’re making it even easier for customers looking to make a move to a longed-for new home, by making sure we’re open at a time to suit them. As well as our evening opening hours, we’re also open Thursday to Monday inclusive from 10am until 5.30pm as usual.

Redrow is also helping to involve the whole family in the house hunting process.

Anita explains: “Finding the perfect home is a task that requires input from the whole family. We’re keen to get everyone excited about moving, that’s why we’ve dressed our show homes to suit real people, complete with children’s bedrooms and lots of family friendly features.”

And once customers have chosen their perfect home, Redrow has a specially created scrapbook for children to fill in to help them get used to the idea of moving house. It features Issy, the little girl who fronts Redrow’s recent marketing campaign, and her trusted teddy bear.  Between them they guide young customers through the process of recording what they’ll miss about their old home and the reasons for moving, as well as helping them to cope with the day of moving, identify all the positives about their new home and to settle in and hopefully make new friends.  They’ll also get a Redrow teddy bear to keep as a memento.

Anita added: “The overall aim is to make young children feel like they have an active role to play in the moving process – rather than it being something that just happens and over which they have no control.”

Yale Walk at Ty Newydd features traditional looking Arts & Crafts influenced homes.

Prices are from £187,995 to £235,000 for a choice of three and four-bedroom detached family homes.

Redrow has a number of incentives designed to make moving more affordable, including its easi:buy scheme, which could enable purchasers to defer 15% of the initial cost to a time when they have ore funds available, but still own 100% of their home. It brings the initial cost of a three-bedroom family home to less than £160,000.

Situated off Mold Road, the development is only a short distance from all the shops, bars, restaurants and other amenities of Wrexham town centre but also enjoys easy access to the A483 for onward travel to Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. The beautiful countryside, leisure pursuits and tourist attractions of North Wales are also easily reached.
