Altrincham property hunters have been making the most of a tool that allows them to view high quality film footage of new homes online.
A film of Redrow’s new homes at Stamford Brook was the most watched clip on the developer’s very own broadband television channel, Redrow.TV last month. In the final quarter of 2011 it was viewed more than 2,000 times.
Home buyers can view the properties from home, from work and even via their mobile phone – wherever they get their internet.
The short clip gives viewers a sneak preview of the latest homes at The Willows, part of Stamford Brook, as well as providing a taste of the fantastic local amenities on their doorstep, including the good transport links to Manchester, the nearby shopping and leisure facilities, and beautiful surrounding countryside. Viewers are then taken on a tour around the development and inside the beautiful show homes, which showcase the high specification on offer.
Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “In our experience the internet is now the first port of call for many people searching for a new home, with a high proportion of searches now made specifically for video content.
“We’ve been overwhelmed by the number of people who have taken time to watch the footage for Stamford Brook. It’s a great motivating factor for them to then come and visit us on site.”
A particularly impressive part of the clip is the footage filmed inside the three-bedroom Devoke show home, which has been designed and styled for modern family life. It features a contemporary kitchen, with top brand name appliances, tall cabinets and extra wide drawers, and an open-plan dining area, with French doors leading out on to the rear garden. On the ground floor, there’s also a spacious lounge and a downstairs cloakroom. Upstairs there are three generously-proportioned bedrooms, including a master with en-suite, plus a sleek family bathroom.
Set in a semi-rural location, Stamford Brook offers the best of both worlds. Woodland walkways and greenways are part of the development; yet the homes enjoy easy access to local amenities with a supermarket just a stone’s throw away. Manchester city centre is easily reached and there’s good motorway access to other cities, including Chester and Liverpool, making it a great choice for commuters.
Prices at The Willows start from £120,995 for a two-bedroom apartment. A Devoke home, like the property shown in the film, is priced from £219,995.
