Register now for Redrow's Heritage Collection homes in Bangor

House hunters are being encouraged to register their interest in Redrow’s new Bangor development so they can be first in the queue when the homes are released in the spring.

Brand new three and four-bedroom houses will be available at the venture, named Goetre Uchaf, catering for everyone including first-time buyers, couples, families, investors and those who are looking to downsize.

Construction on the first homes is already underway. The designs have all been selected from Redrow’s award-winning Heritage Collection and marry a traditional Arts and Crafts architectural design with contemporary, 21st Century interiors.

What’s more, the homes priced below £300,000 will be available under Help to Buy Wales. The scheme, which launched on January 2, means that house hunters will be able to buy many of Redrow’s properties at Goetre Uchaf with just a 5% deposit.

Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “We’re looking forward to launching this development, which will bring a wide choice of traditionally styled new homes to the Bangor market.

“We’re anticipating a high level of interest particularly thanks to the availability of Help to Buy Wales, which is already giving homebuyers across the country a much needed boost. We’d urge those thinking of buying a new home in 2014 to register their interest in our new development soon so they can be the first in the queue to buy.”

The showhomes are set to open mid 2014 but the houses will be available from the spring as a high demand is expected. Prices will be announced at the launch.

The Goetre Uchaf site is perfectly placed, being just a 10 minute drive from the centre of Bangor. The mountains of Snowdonia lie to the west, and the magnificent coastline and Menai Strait to the east providing the best of both worlds. Bangor also boasts the longest High Street in Wales, with a wide variety of shops and stores, including the Deiniol Shopping Centre.

Holyhead can be accessed in less than half an hour, Conwy and Colwyn Bay in around 20 minutes and Chester in just over an hour.
