Calling all those interested in a new Woodford home

Those eagerly awaiting the arrival of new homes being built at the former Woodford Aerodrome site will be pleased to know that they can now check in for the next phase.

A range of four-bedroom homes are now available at Lancaster Green at Woodford Garden Village, the new phase taking on the name of one of the most iconic planes built at the aerodrome, with further three and four-bedroom homes scheduled for flight soon.

Lancaster Green follows on from Redrow’s success with the initial phase of homes at Woodford Garden Village with prices starting at £451,999 for a ‘Marlow’ family home boasting four double bedrooms.

Coming soon will be the popular three-bedroom ‘Worcester’ and ‘Leamington’ house types as well as the four-bedroom ‘Shaftesbury’ and ‘Canterbury’ styles.

Jason Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (North West) said: “The first phase of homes flew out the door so those interested in the new homes now available and coming soon should come and take a look at what’s on offer. All of the homes are built with family living firmly in mind and Woodford is certainly an ideal village to set up home, with a whole new community currently being created.”

While Lancaster Green will comprise 55 homes, following the first phase of 145 homes, Woodford Garden Village as a whole will eventually become a new community with 920 new homes to be built over the next decade, along with all the amenities of a village. Sensitive to its idyllic rural location, it will feature properties from Redrow’s award-winning Heritage Collection, all set among significant amounts of green open spaces including a traditional village green.

Redrow has committed funds for the local community worth a total of £9.6 million as part of its planning agreement, including a £3.5 million primary school, improvements to local transport provision, roads and footpaths, opportunities for sports and recreation plus a contribution towards affordable homes.

Woodford is situated is in the middle of the larger towns and villages of Handforth, Bramhall and Poynton, as well as being close to Wilmslow and Alderley Edge. The new garden village is perfectly located in the Cheshire countryside, with easy access to road and rail links to Manchester and the whole of the North West.

A show home village featuring seven different house types is open daily from 10am to 5.30pm. For more information on the new homes released and coming soon at Lancaster Green visit or call 0161 855411.
