Enjoy a Right Royal Lifestyle with Help to Buy

Help to Buy could still help househunters purchase their own executive home at one Redrow’s most popular developments near Chorley, in Lancashire.

Across the country, more than 185,000 people have already secured the keys to a brand new property thanks to the Government-backed boost.

And, despite mistaken reports that the scheme was to end, award winning developer Redrow has assured buyers that that is not the case.

Help to Buy is still available and means new properties costing less than £600,000 can be bought with a Government-backed 20% equity loan that’s interest free for the first five years. Among the places it can be used is The Royals, the latest stunning phase of Redrow’s Lucas Green development in Whittle-Le-Woods.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), explained: “There were some reports last week that the Help to Buy scheme had closed, but that only applied to the lesser known mortgage guarantee part of the scheme. The more widely used Help to Buy for new-build homes continues apace, we’re happy to say.

“It’s been hugely popular here in Lancashire and we’ve helped very many people onto the housing ladder, including first time buyers and families who were previously trapped in a home too small for their needs.”

The Royals is named in a salute to the site's rich history - boasting a Grade II listed gun mounting originally installed to defend the Royal Ordnance Factory at Chorley against attack – and commemorating a visit by HRH The Princess Royal.

It boasts an unrivalled collection of four and five-bedroom detached executive homes, from Redrow’s Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection, which combines traditional architecture and craftsmanship with stylish, spacious and modern interiors.

Four-bedroom homes are currently available from £439,995, including the detached Balmoral. A commanding property, it retains a homely ambience thanks to the light and careful design, while still offering plenty of space to make spending time together a pleasure.

The kitchen encompasses a dining and living area to create a huge family hub, while a separate lounge gives a place of peace and relaxation, and a study and cloakroom offer practicality.

Four good-sized bedrooms provide ample living space, with the added luxury of an en-suite to the master bedroom and bedroom two, as well as a family bathroom.

And all homes can be bought with the benefit of Help to Buy, which can make a home more affordable and may even mean that you can buy a bigger house more suited to your needs. For instance, a home costing £464,995 can be bought for the initial outlay of £371,996. Help to Buy assists with a government loan of £92,999 (20%) and only a 5% deposit of £23,249 is needed, together with a 75% mortgage.
