Take the next step to a new home in Hawarden

Flintshire home buyers with a property to sell are being invited to a special event that will highlight a great way to climb the housing ladder.

At Redrow’s Gladstone Leigh in Hawarden, part exchange is available for those who want to move but don’t want to get caught in a lengthy chain. With Redrow effectively acting as a cash buyer, homeowners can move from old to new quickly and simply and without any estate agent’s fees to pay.

And, to chat through how it all works, Redrow is holding a special event at Gladstone Leigh on Saturday, December 6.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “Part exchange is perfect for those who are keen to take the next step but don’t want the selling process to hold them back. If homeowners have a property that is worth at least 35% less than the value of their chosen Redrow home, they may be able to put the value of that property towards the cost of a brand new one. Essentially we’ll buy their home so they can buy one of ours.”

On the day, visitors will also be able to take a look around the fully-furnished four-bedroom ‘Canterbury’ showhome, a great example of Redrow’s award-winning Heritage Collection, which boasts traditional Arts and Crafts architectural design with a contemporary 21st Century interiors.

As with all the housetypes at Gladstone Leigh, the Canterbury has been designed with modern-day family living in mind and benefits from an open plan kitchen and dining room along with a formal lounge and separate study.

Prices at Gladstone Leigh currently start at £257,995 for the four-bedroom detached ‘Stratford’. This house design boasts an open plan kitchen and dining room, separate lounge, plus the master bedroom benefits from en-suite.

The large and luxurious, four-bedroom detached Sunningdale currently tops the range at Gladstone Leigh, at £349,995, and more three and four-bedroom homes will be available soon.

The Hawarden venture is close to lively pubs and fine restaurants, as well as a Tesco superstore in nearby Broughton and Asda in Queensferry. High street fashion and home furnishing stores can be found at Broughton Retail Park, which is currently undergoing an expansion to include a new 11-screen cinema, choice of restaurants and a new bus hub. At just seven miles away, Chester is within easy reach, while Wrexham and Liverpool are 12 and 18 miles away respectively.

The part exchange event will be held at Gladstone Leigh on Overlea Drive in Hawarden on December 6 from 11am until 4pm.
