’Tis the season to be jolly and Redrow is helping to spread the joy with a festive event in aid of Claire House Children’s Hospice.
The ‘Christmas for Claire House’ event will be held at Redrow’s Ledsham Garden Village in Little Sutton, on Thursday, December 1 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
Visitors, including existing and potential customers as well as people from the local community, will get the chance to join in the seasonal fun with a special visit from Father Christmas and enjoy winter warming treats like hot chocolate and delicious spicy mulled wine.
There will be carols and Christmas music courtesy of the Northwich Pop Choir and local schoolchildren.
The evening will be opened by the Mayor of Ellesmere Port, Cllr Peter Rooney, who will also introduce music from Chester-based brass band, the Deva Band. There will be marquees and raffles, plus a host of activities to get everyone into the holiday mood. Visitors will also be able to sneak a peak at Redrow’s beautiful Heritage Collection homes at Ledsham Garden Village. All proceeds will be donated to Claire House.
Jason Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW) said: “We’re really looking forward to a special evening to raise money for a cause close to all our hearts and to spread some early Christmas cheer.
“We are hoping as many people as possible will come to help us celebrate the start of the festive season and take part in what I’m sure will be a wonderful event, bringing members of the community together in support of Claire House.”
Angella Rawsthorne, corporate fundraiser for Claire House, added: “I would like to thank Redrow very much for the support they are giving to the hospice. Money donated from the event will go towards our work helping seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full.
“Claire House works extremely hard to create wonderful experiences and bring back a sense of normality to family life for the families who use the service. By providing specialist nursing care and emotional support, Claire House helps families smile again when life couldn’t get any tougher.”
‘Christmas for Claire House’ will be held at Redrow’s Ledsham Garden Village, on Thursday, December 1 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
The five show homes at Ledsham Garden Village are open seven days a week, between 10am and 5.30pm. For more information visit:
