Help with a cuppa at Redrow's Stretton Green

Homebuyers can help beat cancer with a cuppa this Friday as Redrow celebrates the 23rd birthday of Macmillan’s annual ‘Big Coffee Morning’ event.

The housebuilder has promised to donate £10 to the charity for every visitor who comes along and enjoys a coffee at Redrow’s outstanding Stretton Green development near Chester on Friday, September 27.

Attendance at the fundraiser is completely free and Redrow will be providing plenty of coffee, tea and delicious homemade cakes during the event between 10am-12pm.

And whether visitors are firmly in the market for a new home, or just want to come and explore this stunning development, anyone can join in on the fun.

The fundraising event comes as people up and down the country put on their own coffee mornings to help raise money for Macmillan.

Last year more than five million people around the UK hosted or attended a coffee morning, raising a record breaking £15m.

The charity are now hopeful this year’s fundraiser could be the biggest since the event started in 1990.

All the money raised will go towards local Macmillan teams, including ones in Cheshire, to ensure that no one will have to fight cancer alone.

Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), explains: “Here in the North West and North Wales everyone is familiar with the wonderful work that Macmillan Cancer Support carries out.

“Redrow are proud to be working in association with such an amazing charity and we really hope that lots of potential homebuyers turn up so that we can donate as much money possible to this fantastic cause”.

Located in Stretton village, in the heart of rural Cheshire and just 10 miles from historic Chester, Stretton Green is a bespoke enclave of four and five-bedroom homes, adjacent to the stunning golf courses of Carden Park and surrounded by rolling countryside.

Architecture has been inspired by the impressive manor houses and charming country cottages for which this part of Cheshire is both envied and renowned.

Each home is individually named to reflect its distinctive charm, and set within its own private grounds, with a gravel driveway and Cheshire field gates.

Initial prices are from £830,000 for a four-bedroom home and from £1,075,000 for a five-bedroom home.

To help beat cancer visit Stretton Green on Stretton Hall Lane, Chester, Cheshire, on Friday, September 27 from 10am to 12pm.
