It's open house at Ricksby Grange

House hunters are being invited to attend a special event in Wrea Green as premium homebuilder Redrow throws open new doors to showcase some stunning properties.

The company is hosting a special ‘Open House’ at Ricksby Grange, in the picturesque Fylde village, during which visitors will be able to view so much more than the Henley show home.

A new selection of finished homes, including the four-bedroom Welwyn and Balmoral, will be available for close-up inspection on Saturday, April 22. Discerning buyers will have the chance to take a tour inside and hopefully answer ‘yes’ to the question: ‘Who would live in a luxurious house like this?’

“Show homes, photographs and detailed plans give people an excellent idea of what a home will be like,” says Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire). “But there is nothing quite like viewing and walking around a particular house itself to appreciate how it could suit you, your lifestyle – and your furniture.

“By visiting a variety of properties, buyers can more easily imagine themselves in each one, understanding how they would use the individual rooms and working out which style might be more appropriate for them. It makes it more individual and pertinent.”

Claire adds: “Buying a house is a big decision, but it is the little things that matter too – like making sure grandma’s treasured bureau or that sought-after sofa will fit into a certain space, and whether a much-loved dining suite will enhance a room rather than be overwhelmed by it. All are considerations which make a house a home; and make it perfect for each person.”

Every house style at Ricksby Grange has something different to offer, whether it is the £389,995 Welwyn, with its generous family, dining and kitchen area that brings everyone together, plus a spacious lounge perfect for when you want a little time to yourselves; or the Balmoral, from £489,995, with its portico-covered entrance, separate study and two en-suite bedrooms.

But all hail from Redrow’s Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection, which combines traditional and crafted exteriors with modern and spacious interiors designed to make life enjoyable and practical for today’s home owners.

To aid those who have an existing house to sell, Redrow’s Mastermove incentive can help buyers make the transition with just a few simple steps. All buyers need to do is find a Redrow home and register on Mastermove and from then Redrow does all the hard work – from arranging a valuation on their current property and agreeing a price that will help it sell quickly, to appointing a trusted estate agent to market it and secure a swift sale. Redrow will even contribute to the customer’s selling fees.

And as if that isn’t incentive enough, the location of Ricksby Grange will only serve to increase its appeal. It is situated in Wrea Green, which has won Lancashire’s Best-Kept Village award 15 times, and is close to Lytham, which was declared one of the best places to live in the 2016 Sunday Times’ Best Places to Live list.

Would-be buyers can see for themselves, either by enjoying the open day from 10am to 5.30am on Saturday, April 22 or visiting the sales centre and show home between 10am and 5.30pm, Thursday to Monday inclusive.
