The teams, which play every other Sunday at Higher Shotton Community Centre on North Street, Shotton, are in the Flintshire Juniors football league.
Redrow, which has developments in Penymynydd, Buckley and Hawarden, has donated £840 towards the teams’ new kits for the 2013/2014 season.
Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “We are proud to support a team that is local to many of our sites in North Wales. We hope that these brand new kits will bring them luck for the season and we wish them all continued success for their future matches this year.”
Fundraising manager Mark Davies said: “On behalf of all the Aston Park Rangers’ team members, I would like to say a huge thank you to Redrow for their generous donation. The teams will wear their new kits at each game they play and hopefully it will bring them some luck in the forthcoming season.”
Supporting local sports teams and charitable donations are part of Redrow’s commitment to the communities in which it builds. And, as well as building quality new homes, the company contributes millions of pounds each year to local services, including roads, public transport, education, parks and open space.
On the housing side, Redrow is already scoring home wins at Heritage Park, in Penymynydd, and Heathlands, in Buckley, with homes that combine traditional looking exteriors with bright, modern interiors; whilst ‘play’ starts at its newest venture, Gladstone Leigh, in Hawarden later this month.
