Farndon Meadow

Last chance to buy at Farndon Meadow

Cheshire homebuyers are being urged to take a look at the final new Redrow homes in Farndon before they sell out.

With just five homes remaining at the venture, those considering a move to the pretty village close to the Welsh border, need to act fast.

With its countryside setting and offering a range of four-bedroom detached homes, Farndon Meadow has something for downsizers, families and those wishing to accommodate a growing brood.

Additionally, all of the homes qualify for the Government backed Help to Buy scheme.

Help to Buy includes a 20% equity loan that’s interest free for five years. This reduces the initial outlay and means customers only have to find a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage from a lender of choice.

For instance, the four-bedroom ‘Cambridge’ home at Farndon Meadow is priced at £349,995, but Help to Buy reduces the initial outlay to only £279,996.

Other four-bedroom detached homes that remain include the beautifully proportioned ‘Harrogate’ with four double bedrooms and the ‘Welwyn’ which boasts an integral double garage. Both properties have an en-suite to master bedroom and downstairs cloakroom, as well as a main bathroom, again great for people sharing as well as families.
A combination of open plan kitchen/dining/family areas and separate formal lounges creates convivial spaces, with opportunities to socialise or enjoy personal space.

Jason Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “For those thinking of moving, we’d urge would-be buyers to come and take a look at what we offer at Farndon Meadow as now is the time to grab a good mortgage deal and there are only five homes left. Buyers may also be pleasantly surprised at what they can afford with the aid of Help to Buy.

“Many people have found that the scheme has made a considerable difference to their borrowing power as they only need a relatively small deposit of around 5%.”

Inspired by the architecture of the Arts and Crafts era, Redrow’s Heritage Collection homes look very traditional from the outside. Inside, however, they are bright and modern with well equipped kitchens, stylish bathrooms and a host of energy efficient measures so that buyers should also save on their fuel bills.

Farndon is within easy reach of both Chester and Wrexham. The development is just four miles from the A41, with the M53, A55 and M6 making Manchester or Liverpool easily commutable.
