Lorraine builds on sales success

Last year Redrow’s Lorraine Moores was named as her division’s top sales consultant and she’s now adding to that success in her new position of area sales manager for Lancashire.

Lorraine, 48, has been appointed to the role at the division’s head office in Chorley, bringing with her a wealth of property sales experience.

Having worked in the housebuilding industry for a number of years previously, she was employed as the sales consultant at Redrow’s Hanson Gardens venture five years ago and went on to work at other developments including Birch Grange in Rochdale, where she won her sales award.

Now, as area sales manager, she will continue to oversee sales at Birch Grange and at the new Moston developments which are part of a regeneration project in Manchester that she is particularly proud of.

Lorraine said: “I’m really relishing the idea of taking Moston further with the recently launched St John Gardens and Abbot Gardens developments; I’m very passionate about that whole project. I’ve also enjoyed getting my teeth into the launch of some of our very prestigious homes at Heritage Green in Culcheth.”

Lorraine, who is married with two grown up children, lives in Marple, Stockport.
Her knowledge of the housebuilding sector has helped her at home too as her son has just taken his first step onto the housing ladder at just 26.

“I pushed him to save for a deposit but he’s very thankful now!” she says. “Not many of his peers have been able to buy yet.”

Lorraine will also oversee sales at College Court in Wigan; Canal View in Garstang; Riverside View in Lancaster and the new Walkden development of Dukes Manor.
