New MD for Redrow in the North West and North Wales

CHESHIRE-based Redrow Homes (NW) has announced the appointment of a new managing director, Paul Moore.

With almost 25 years in the construction and housing industry, including roles as managing director of Kier Living Northern and, prior to that, group managing director at construction firm Southdale, Paul, 45, will oversee Redrow’s oldest housing division, responsible for building homes across the North West and North Wales.

Paul, who is based at Redrow NW’s offices at Daresbury Park, near Warrington, said: “Redrow NW has an enviable land bank, including several large-scale new homes developments with considerable units in the pipeline. My focus is on managing this strong position to bring these and other schemes through the planning process and to deliver more award-winning homes and create new communities for our customers.

“Maintaining the exceptional standards through every part of a development’s progress is also a key focus, to ensure we continue to deliver the highest level of customer service to match the quality of the Redrow brand.”

Paul, who is married with four children, oversees Redrow developments throughout Cheshire, across North Wales to Bangor and in parts of Merseyside and Greater Manchester.

His arrival at Redrow has come at a successful time for the NW division, which has 15 live outlets and achieved 30% growth in the last financial year. The Daresbury-based business is delivering 3,000 new homes across two innovative garden villages in Woodford and near Ledsham in Cheshire, which will create new communities with all the amenities of a new village.

In addition, significant schemes in Nantwich and Congleton are set to launch this financial year, and proposed developments in Daresbury and Chester are going through the planning process.

Warren Thompson, Redrow’s Northern regional chief executive, said: “I have known Paul for many years and am delighted he has taken up this position.

“Our NW division has a stellar reputation for delivering high quality and innovative new homes, with the division being well positioned to deliver year on year growth due to its enviable land bank.

“Paul’s leadership and industry knowledge will ensure we are in the best possible position to continue to deliver market-leading schemes, such as our existing ones at Woodford, Hartford and Ledsham.”
