Create a home as individual as you in Ormskirk

Buyers who reserve a new Redrow home in Ormskirk this weekend will have £5,000 to spend on personalising it ready for when they move in.

With traditional homes available in a choice of designs, there’s plenty to choose from at Oakwood Park in Wigan Road.

And those who buy this Saturday (August 18) will be able to take advantage of an options package to customise their new home to their personal taste.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), explains: “As those who’ve already seized the opportunity to purchase a new home at Oakwood Park have discovered, buying ‘off plan’ before a house is physically built gives you two key advantages. Firstly, there are more properties available in a development’s early stages so you can generally secure the house of your choice in the position you want.  Secondly, if you are buying early in the build process you have more likelihood of being able to personalise the interior.

“This Saturday we’re encouraging people to buy off plan by giving them up to £5,000 to spend on customising their home with Redrow options. They will be able to choose from an enhanced range of kitchen cabinets, work surfaces and bathroom tiles, plus other extras and upgrades. Customers could even use the incentive towards carpets for their new home and put the cash they would have otherwise set aside for this item towards their deposit instead.”

Prices at Oakwood Park start from £149,995 for a two-bedroom home, with four-bedroom properties available from £249,995.

“Whether you’re a first time buyer or looking to climb the property ladder, there’s a home for you at Oakwood Park. And whichever style of home is chosen, you can rest assured it will be finished to the same high standard by skilled craftsmen who take pride in their work,” Claire adds.

All new Redrow homes feature well equipped kitchens with integrated top brand name appliances including oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer, plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers. Bathrooms and en-suites boast quality fixtures and fittings, with a tile range exclusive to Redrow.

The homes at Oakwood Park are within walking distance of Ormskirk town centre, giving residents easy access to shops and leisure facilities. With schools nearby, it’s ideal for those with children.

Redrow is preparing to open a show home at the development this autumn.

In the meantime, customers are encouraged to visit other Redrow developments across Lancashire including College Court in Wigan and Sandhurst Gardens and The Village Green in Chorley so that they can appreciate the layouts, quality and finish of the homes. Buyers can also take a virtual tour of show homes across the country via the company’s broadband television channel Redrow.TV.

Those who want £5,000 to spend on customising their new home should visit Oakwood Park this Saturday (August 18).
