Redrow has launched a trio of new developments in central Lancashire with great success

Redrow has launched a trio of new developments in central Lancashire with great success.

The developer’s Heritage Collection homes in Fulwood, Standish and Clayton le Woods have all found favour with buyers searching for a family friendly home with modern features, all wrapped up in a traditional looking ‘package’.

The properties have an Arts & Crafts influence to their exteriors with period-style features and plenty of character, evocative perhaps of the kind of homes purchasers grew up in. Inside they boast convivial open plan living space, top brand name appliances and a host of family friendly features.

Redrow held ‘pre-launch’ events for each development to give people already on the enquiries’ database a chance to see the homes available. Several immediate sales were made at each location as well as ‘early bird’ registrations on properties not yet released for sale.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “This is very much Redrow’s heartland. We’ve had and still have numerous successful developments in and around Preston, Chorley, Leyland and Wigan so people are familiar with our Heritage Collection homes and know how popular they are. These latest schemes add to our offering of high quality, premium specification, extremely desirable family homes.”

At The Hedgerows, in Wigan Road, Clayton le Woods, near Leyland, Redrow has opened three fully furnished showhomes to promote a range of three and four-bedroom detached homes. Current prices are from £284,995 for a four-bedroom Oxford with integral garage and en-suite to master bedroom. “Four reservations were taken in the first couple of weeks alone, with more since,” Claire said.

Daleside Meadows, off Lightfoot Lane, in Fulwood, near Preston, will also feature three and four-bedroom detached homes. But with only 19 properties available buyers are being urged to make the most of buying off plan at pre-showhome prices. Current availability includes four-bedroom detached homes from £317,995. They include the Canterbury which boasts a fabulous open plan kitchen, dining and living area overlooking the back garden.

Completing the trio of sought-after new Redrow developments is Stone Brook, off Old Pepper Lane in Standish, near Wigan. Current prices are from £263,995 for a choice of three and four-bedroom detached homes. Redrow’s Mastermove scheme, which helps those with an existing property to sell and pays their estate agent’s fees, is proving particularly popular here. A fully furnished four-bedroom detached Oxford showhome is open for viewing.
