They include Gemma Kirkby and Daniel Kidd who’ve just bought their second home at Buckshaw Village, near Chorley.
The couple were so happy with their Redrow home that when they started a family and needed somewhere larger, there was nowhere better than another Redrow home.
Gemma explains: “We’re both from Preston and four years ago we were looking for a new build in the surrounding area and bought a three storey townhouse at Buckshaw Village. At the time it gave us plenty of space but we have since started a family and outgrown it so needed to move somewhere bigger. When it came to buying again choosing a second Redrow home seemed the right move.”
Their customer loyalty is testament to the high standards buyers can expect from Redrow, as is the speed in which they sold their home. Gemma and Daniel secured a buyer in just five weeks, enabling them to enjoy a quick and easy move to a three-bedroom detached Worcester style within the latest phase of the village, known as The Orchard.
“Our first Redrow home still looked new when we moved out,” Gemma adds.
“When I viewed the Worcester I fell in love with it straight away and put a deposit down there and then. I like the look of it from the outside as it looks traditional but inside it’s modern.
“I love the utility room as it means I can put the washing on and shut the door without having to hear it.”
Redrow’s high level of customer service during the buying process on both occasions was an important factor in helping the moves go smoothly. Gemma goes as far as describing the care shown by sales consultant Carol Sokol as being like that of an aunt.
“I’m a hairdresser and I’m always recommending Redrow to people, telling them about the finish of the homes and how the sales team make everything easy,” Gemma says.
Over the last four years Gemma, now 29, and Daniel, 37, have seen Buckshaw Village develop around them. With a wealth of local amenities, it’s the ideal place for them to raise daughter Lillie.
“I like that there’s a primary school here because we now have a little girl. It’s a nice village with a community feel. It’s getting better and better with a supermarket now open and new shops and restaurants,” Gemma adds.
There’s also a well-used community centre, all-weather sports pitches, shops including a chemist, hairdressers and convenience store, new doctors’ surgery and a train station offering frequent services to Manchester and Preston.
Between the various phases of Buckshaw Village, Redrow has something for almost everyone ranging from two-bedroom properties suited to first time buyers and downsizers alike up to substantial five-bedroom family homes.
