An award-winning chef is preparing to cook up a storm during a special event at Redrow’s Chestnut Grange development in Tattenhall.
On Saturday July 25, Brian Mellor - a Master Chef of Great Britain and former head chef at the BBC and executive chef at Granada TV - will be at Chestnut Grange conducting cookery demonstrations and providing tasty treats for visitors to sample.
Would-be homebuyers will be able to feast their eyes on the demonstrations which will take place at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm with Brian, who now runs a cookery school in Harthill, on hand to answer any questions and offer advice.
For the sweet toothed, tempting additions will be courtesy of the Ice Cream Farm at Cheshire Farm in Tattenhall with a selection of ice cream flavours also on offer.
Jason Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW) said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming such a well-known chef to Chestnut Grange along with local institution the Ice Cream Farm.
“The homes are the perfect place to entertain and while visitors are enjoying the demonstrations and delicious food, we have the opportunity to demonstrate the lifestyle in this sought-after Cheshire location.
“Visitors will be able to see that homes have all been designed with family living in mind. They each offer open-plan areas designed for spending quality time together, as well as spacious bedrooms for those times when you just want to relax.”
The event will give those hungry for a new home a perfect opportunity to fill up, not only on cookery techniques, recipes and ice cream, but on information about the new homes at Chestnut Grange.
The menu of styles on offer includes The Welwyn, complete with integral double garage, and The Henley with its 36ft long family, dining and kitchen area and generously-sized bedrooms. Current prices start from £407,995 for a four-bedroom Sunningdale.
Offering the best of both worlds, because of its fantastic city access and Cheshire countryside surroundings, the Tattenhall venture is located within easy walking distance to the village centre with its array of local amenities.
The chef event on Saturday July 25, will run from 12pm-4pm with demos on the hour from 1pm-3pm.
