The secret to selling quickly in Ormskirk

As consumer confidence in the housing market grows more people are putting their homes on the market and with help from Redrow Ormskirk homeowners could secure a buyer sooner rather than later.

Figures from RICS (the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) suggest that the number of new instructions has grown for six months in a row. Meanwhile, home.co.uk reports that the average time on the market in Ormskirk has fallen over the past year.

And with Mastermove from Redrow, homeowners could sell up and move on even quicker.

To explain how the scheme works, the award-winning housebuilder is hosting a special event at Oakwood Park this Sunday (September 22).

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), says: “There’s been a lot of positive news about the housing market in recent months, which has encouraged people to think about buying and selling. We’ve certainly seen an increase in enquiries at Oakwood Park, particularly from homeowners including those who are yet to put their property up for sale.

“This Sunday we’ll be explaining that whether you’re moving up the property ladder or downsizing to somewhere more manageable with Mastermove you should be able to avoid the nightmare of the average eight months it takes to sell a home in Ormskirk. Instead of waiting for a buyer, with the help of a local agent, you could sell your property much quicker and at full market value.”

Redrow will arrange to have the client’s property valued and agree a selling price with them. Then they will liaise with a local estate agents to market the property on the customer’s behalf, keeping in regular contact with all parties to ensure the property sells as quickly as possible. They will even pay the estate agent’s fees. All it takes is a small deposit, which will be refund upon completion.
