WI Members Have Designs on Show Home

The ladies of Ribby-with-Wrea WI have been learning the tricks of the trade when it comes to creating the perfect show home look.

WI members were invited to a special event at Redrow Homes’ Ricksby Grange development in Wrea Green, which included a tour of the show home, afternoon tea and an insight into some of the designs and features that go into creating a brand new home.

The WI members spent the afternoon in Redrow’s four-bedroom detached Henley show home and, with the sun shining, took a peep into the garden as they enjoyed a selection of scones and cakes.

Helen Hooley, secretary of Ribby-with-Wrea WI, said: “It was a really enjoyable afternoon and we would like to thank Redrow for inviting us. Our members had a lovely time looking round, chatting to the sales staff and picking up new ideas for our own homes."

All guests left with goodie bags and one member, Barbara Hill, won a hamper prize in a raffle organised by Redrow.

The Ricksby Grange development, off Ribby Road features three, four and five-bedroom homes from Redrow’s Arts & Crafts inspired Heritage Collection. Four- bedroom properties, in a range of styles, are currently available to buy from £399,995.

The Henley show home has been dressed to impress and inspire would-be home owners as to how their own new home could look.

Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), who hosted the event, said: “We were delighted to welcome the ladies of Ribby-with-Wrea WI to Ricksby Grange. It was a pleasure to share some thoughts on the latest styling, design and practical features that go into making the perfect family home and the warm, welcoming feel we take pride in creating. A lovely afternoon was topped off with glorious sunshine, tea and cakes!”

Redrow’s show home at Ricksby Grange, off Ribby Road is open Thursday to Monday, 10am until 5.30pm. For more information call 01772 396826 or visit
