Crofton Event Offers Help To Final Homebuyers at Nostell Fields

Homebuyers in Crofton are invited to a special event over the weekend of September 24 and 25, showcasing the final three homes for sale at Redrow’s Nostell Fields, near Wakefield – each ready to move into and with extras included.

The ‘open weekend’ will be an opportunity for would-be buyers to view the last remaining Heritage Collection properties – the four-bedroom Oxford show home which comes fully furnished, styled and landscaped, and two Cambridge style homes, also four-bedroom, which have flooring throughout, turf to the rear garden and an outside tap included.

With all three properties available to view, potential buyers can drop in between 10am and 5.30pm on the day to have a look round, with help on hand to find out about Redrow’s Mastermove and the government-backed Help to Buy scheme.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), explains: “With just three homes now remaining at Nostell Fields, buyers need to act fast. There are many advantages to buying at this stage as not only is there a professionally styled show home with all the trimmings on offer, but the extras included in our other homes add real value too.

“The Government’s Help to Buy initiative can be an affordable way for buyers to purchase one of our brand new Heritage Collection homes. This scheme allows both first time buyers and those selling a home to take out a 20% equity loan that’s interest free for the first five years. It means they should be able to purchase a new home with only a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, making for lower monthly repayments in those crucial first few years. The equity loan covers the balance and can be paid back when the customer has more funds available or when they come to resell.”

With Help to Buy the Oxford, normally costing from £279,950 can be bought for an initial outlay of only £223,990 while the Cambridge reduces from an initial outlay of £274,950 to £219,960.
