Redrow helps Derby football team kick off new season
Redrow is supporting children in sport by sponsoring Oakwood & Breadsall United Football Club in Derby.
Redrow Homes East Midlands, which has recently started building homes at Durose Country Park on Mansfield Road, has provided the team with two sets of the team’s football strip.
The local football club supports four to nine year olds to be active and enjoy the team building sport in a community environment.
Mary Timlin, Sales Director for Redrow Homes East Midlands, added: “Oakwood & Breadsall United Football Club is an invaluable part of community life, and we are proud to support the team as part of our commitment to creating thriving communities.
“It’s great to see the enthusiasm of all of the team members, we will be following them throughout the season and wish them luck in their next game!”
Lee Poulter, chairman at Oakwood & Breadsall United Football Club, said: “We’d like to thank Redrow Homes East Midlands for their support, and are thrilled they are sponsoring our team. Oakwood & Breadsall FC is made up of girls and boys from the local community and it’s wonderful to see everyone come together and improve every time we train.
“We have a great bunch of players that we are really proud of, so they all deserve to feel a sense of pride when they step onto the pitch. Having a smart new kit has really helped the team to kick off the new season in style!”
The sponsorship forms part of our ongoing commitment to promote health, wellbeing and excellence, with a focus on younger generations.
Durose Country Park, on Mansfield Road, allows residents to embrace village living while still enjoying easy access to Derby city centre.
