Redrow's Ribble Valley development scoops national award
It picked up a Best Residential Development Award for Lancashire in the 2019 UK Property Awards held in London.
The development is nestled between Pendle Hill and the Forest of Bowland in the Ribble Valley, an area recently named the happiest place to live in the UK by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) – making it a double boon for buyers.
The awards celebrate the very best of the UK property industry and are part of the world renowned International Property Awards that are judged by a panel of experts from all over the world.
The Lancashire award was one of 10 for us on the night.
Lesley Myers, sales manager at Redrow Homes (Lancashire), said: “It’s fantastic news that Oak Leigh Gardens has been recognised as one of the best developments in the UK. This venture has been incredibly popular with families taking the next step up the property ladder.
“We were also delighted to see the area was recently voted the happiest place to live in the UK and I’m very pleased that Redrow has been able to satisfy the local need for homes in such a sought after location.”
The current phase of three and four-bedroom homes is inspired by our award- winning Heritage Collection that combines classic Arts and Crafts architecture with modern family friendly interiors.
The detached homes available start from £322,995 for the four bedroom Stratford to £425,995 for the four-bedroom Sunningdale, which has two en-suites, an integral double garage and an extra downstairs room in the shape of a ‘snug’.
The development also includes some of our specially designed ‘Lifestyle’ properties which feature fewer but more lavish bedrooms, each with their own en-suite wet room. These include the three bedroom Oxford Lifestyle built on the footprint of what would normally be a four-bedroom detached home.
Homebuyers can also use the Government backed Help to Buy equity loans that can reduce initial outlay by up to 20%, whilst Redrow also offers tailor-made packages to help those looking to move.
Situated just off the main A59 Preston Road, within easy reach of the M6 and M65, Oak Leigh Gardens has excellent commuter connections. Whalley is just one mile away and Clitheroe a little over two miles. Both Preston and Manchester are also within easy reach at 16 miles and 30 miles respectively.
