An under-sevens football team from Great Sankey has scored a sponsorship from house builder Redrow.
Whittle Hall JFC Wizards (WHJFC), based at the Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub, has received £200 from Redrow towards tracksuit tops to wear on match days.
Dave Smith, Chairman of Whittle Hall Football Club says: “The football club was formed in 1998 and we’re celebrating our 21st anniversary this year. It’s great to be supported by Redrow and the under-sevens really look the part this season.
“The majority of this team has been together since they were five and all the players are developing well. We’re seeing improvements week by week. Each game they have a smile on their face and are enjoying their football.”
Lesley Myers, sales manager at Redrow Homes (Lancashire), says supporting sports teams close to where they build is a key part of our commitment to creating thriving communities: “One of the coaches had recently purchased a home at The Oaks at Taylor’s Chase and got in contact to see if we could support the team by sponsoring the children’s kits. The tracksuit tops look great and I wish the under-seven’s the best of luck this season.”
We are currently building two ventures at Taylor’s Chase, part of the larger Omega development in Great Sankey.
Launched in September last year, The Oaks features a collection of three, four and five-bedroom homes with current prices from £395,995, including a number of designs from Redrow’s highly-acclaimed Lifestyle range. These homes are designed to have fewer, but larger bedrooms, all en-suite and with a luxurious feel.
The Brook at Taylor’s Chase comprises a range of carefully-crafted two-bedroom apartments from £112,000 and three and four-bedroom homes priced from £255,995.
