How good causes in Oldham can apply for a slice of funding from Redrow
Community projects in and around Oldham could have a share of £5,000 after Redrow announced the launch of its latest Community Fund.
We have set up the fund for our new development Saddleworth View in Oldham and applications are being invited from local charities, community groups and other good causes.
We hope to offer support to as many organisations and individuals as possible, promising to share out the cash pot accordingly.
“Rather than give out one or two large amounts, we’d prefer to help a greater number of groups or people with a smaller one, to make sure that as many people as possible can benefit,” explained Lesley Myers, sales manager for our Lancashire division. “So we’d encourage everyone who feels we could support them to apply for funding.
“It could be to buy new tables for a community hall, sponsor a sports team or provide outdoor play equipment for a toddler group. There are lots of different ways we can help because, as well as building new homes, our ethos is to create communities too and contribute positively to those areas in which we build.
“We are always delighted at the variety of requests that come our way, so we can’t wait to hear from people in and around Oldham about how we can help them.”
Located off Counthill Road, in the Moorside area of Oldham and on the edge of Saddleworth Moors, home buyers can enjoy countryside right on their doorstep.
Lesley added: “The location of Saddleworth View is also ideal for commuters with its close proximity to Manchester and major motorways such as the M62 and the homes are perfect for families. We have just launched two brand new show homes so visitors can view our interiors and superb specification up close.”
Current availability includes four-bedroom detached family homes from £301,995.
The new show homes are usually open Thursday through to Monday 10am until 5.30pm. For more information call 0161 825 7277 or visit www.redrow.co.uk/saddleworthview
