Big family trip on the cards to celebrate award win
Pam, who lives in Worsley and has two grown up children, earned the top title for Redrow’s Lancashire division in recognition of her success at Fox Meadows, in Chadderton.
She beat stiff competition from sales colleagues at developments across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and parts of Merseyside.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to have won this award, to be recognised for doing a good job is so rewarding,” said Pam, who joined us in 2016 after working as a customer relationship manager for a social housing company.
“This year it’s my 30th wedding anniversary, my daughter is due to graduate and my son is 21, so we will have even more reason to celebrate. We also have family who live in America so we are trying to plan a trip where we can all be together.”
Lesley Myers, sales manager at our Lancashire division said Pam’s high standards and knowledge of the Redrow product has helped put Redrow Homes on the map everywhere she’s worked and, most recently, at Fox Meadows.
“Pam managed a very busy development whilst never letting her standards slip. She’s a real asset to the company,” Lesley added.
Being named one of Redrow’s top sales consultants brings with it a substantial cash prize and the award is based on a number of factors, including sales performance against targets, online reservations and help to sell applications.
And it’s not just Pam whose hard work has been recognised, Rebecca Hornbuckle has won sales support person of the year.
Rebecca started at Redrow aged just 18 as a sales office assistant after leaving college where she studied textiles, history and English. Now a marketing coordinator, Rebecca’s confidence has grown and she has been commended for being a “great team player.”
Rebecca said: “I wasn’t expecting to win at all so it was a very nice surprise. I really enjoy everything that I work on and I have a great team around me too.”
