Redrow appoints new Sales Director for Lancashire division
Sian Pitt has been appointed to the role of sales director at our Chorley-based Lancashire division.
Sian, 41, from Great Sankey in Warrington, brings over 20 years’ of industry experience to the Lancashire division of the homebuilder and will work with a sales team that includes three area sales managers plus a sales manager.
“Since starting in the industry after I left school at 18, I’ve covered a variety of sales roles. I actually started my career with Redrow as a trainee sales administrator and then worked briefly as a sales consultant before moving to Bellway Homes where I was head of sales,” says Sian.
Sian also spent time as head of sales at both Ask Developments and Hollinwood Homes before joining Galliford Try’s Linden Homes business as regional sales director before the business was merged with Bovis.
Sian says she is looking forward to helping us create thriving communities across its ‘Lancashire patch’, which includes parts of Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire, and having a great team of people working with her.
“Redrow is known for its quality product so I’m very proud to be working for a homebuilder with such an outstanding reputation. Redrow really is the elite of the industry,” continues Sian.
Sian will take a strategic, forward-thinking approach to growing sales for the division over the next few years.
“I think the industry will see a shift in the market over the next year or two due to the Help to Buy changes coming into effect in 2021, which include the introduction of regional price caps.
“While competition is likely to remain strong from the second hand market, the advantages of buying new such as improved energy efficiency, low maintenance, and help for those selling an existing property, will ensure the new build market remains buoyant.
Steve Greenhalgh, managing director for our Lancashire division, said: “Sian’s wealth of experience makes her a real asset to the business. Her experience in a variety of roles means she’s well placed to manage a team and I’m sure she will play a big part in our continued growth plans across Lancashire and parts of Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside.”
